Issan Thai Massage

Thai massage is a dry massage designed to balance muscle/soft tissue length, tension and tone, which will in turn promote the return of joints and bones to their normal position; increase the flow of blood and lymph, particularly in injured areas, and remove blockages, scar tissue and adhesions resulting from injury.

Firm to strong pressure applied deeply (with or without oil), with long strokes to alleviate tight muscles and knots in the specific parts of your body that need it. Best for concentrating on areas of chronic aches and pains. Recommended for active sports people and office syndrome. Deep tissue and sports massage is a treatment that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles as well as the connective tissue. This treatment suits very well for persistently tense and strained areas like stiff neck, sore shoulders and lower back tightness.

A reflex action in another part of the body is stimulated by the manipulation of each specific area. Using pressure point massage techniques, mainly on the feet, to remove blockages, restore the flow of energy and address overall health problems. A warm foot bath is followed by lower leg and foot reflexology massage involving hands-on stretching. Foot reflexology opens energy lines with the use of a stick and fingers to stimulate reflex points on the feet which correspond to internal organs, stimulating and promoting general health and well-being. * Includes head/neck/shoulder for 60 min sessions only.
